About

Our Commitment to Your Success

These matters—your estate, your home, your family—aren’t just legal issues. They’re the things that matter most. Martha and Brett have spent decades in Florida courts helping families navigate exactly what you’re facing, and they built this firm around one simple idea: the right plan starts with truly understanding your situation.

Martha Mendez

Managing Partner

Martha is an experienced attorney with ten years of practice, known for her dedication to guiding clients through life’s most important legal transitions. She began her career as a secretary working alongside Brett (her current law partner), gradually advancing into a paralegal role before earning her Juris Doctor. That hands-on foundation shaped the practical, client-focused approach she brings to her work today.

Martha concentrates her practice in elder law and estate planning, helping individuals and families protect their assets and prepare for the future with confidence. She also handles real estate matters, assisting buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants with a wide range of issues. In addition, Martha has successfully represented clients in family law, including divorce, custody, support, and property division.

Martha holds an undergraduate degree from Florida International University and earned her law degree, graduating cum laude, from St. Thomas University School of Law.

Outside the office, Martha enjoys boating, kayaking, and traveling. She is happily married and the mother of three children, who remain her greatest motivation and inspiration.
